Your route to the Hohe Mark Steig leads you along the "Füchtelner Mühle" over directly to Olfen natural pool. This is where your hiking stage begins on the Water route of the Hohe Mark Steig.

It goes through the open landscape with an unobstructed view to the horizon. The attitude soon changes: wonderful avenues line your path and there is always an opportunity to rest on one of the benches. One or the other hiking hut is also on the route and offers the perfect shelter when the weather changes.

You can enjoy the silence around you and listen to nature on forest paths, past meadows and fields.
The climb takes you in Direction Hullerner reservoir, by the way, from the jammed Stever arises. And this is where the panorama changes: Beautiful vantage points have a magical view of the lake ready for you. Be enchanted by the cloud reflections, the animal inhabitants and the atmosphere. A special highlight is certainly the Crossing the reservoir - about in the middle. Fantastic! And definitely a reason to get out the camera.

Continue hiking through the forest, around the lake, always with a view of the lake and nature. Then the climb will guide you Stever along, which meanders elegantly through the landscape and impresses with enchanting landscapes. Until you on the Haltern reservoir meets and has the next highlight on your hike ready.

Get very close to the Haltern reservoir and a little further away you hike around the lake. Always tempted to take a break on one of the benches. Why not? Enjoy the water route and the wonderful panorama.

And you continue on your hike around the lake to the Marina on the beach avenue. Here reigns harbor flair pure. Watching boats, that's something really wonderful. Or?
