"The Mountains" in Borken and Velen and "Gernebachtal" in Datteln are the names of the two new LandStreifer circular trails that were officially opened on April 05 and 12, respectively.

May 14th is Hiking Day, a great opportunity to try out two new trails.

Pure nature, dune feeling, open landscapes and extensive forests, heath and tree pipits and even Scottish Highland cattle - you will find all this between Borken and Velen on the almost 14 km long trail.

In Datteln, on the other hand, you'll see forests with sculptures, ships, and sand or lean meadows – it goes from "Höcksken to Stöcksken." This tour is also almost 14 kilometers long.
