Star hikes around Haltern am See

It is also worth spending a weekend or a few days in Haltern am See to experience some day hikes, the so-called “LandStreifer”. The “LandStreifer” are circular hiking trails that branch off from the Hohe Mark Steig and show special natural experiences.

In Haltern am See there are two circular routes, “Deep Mountains, High Valleys” and “Wild Forest Weitsicht”, which are waiting to be discovered. But you can also hike great and impressive “LandStreifer” in the immediate neighborhood in Dülmen, Olfen or south of the Haard.
