Since 5 years The long-distance hiking trail delights hiking enthusiasts with impressive nature experiences, diverse landscapes, welcoming hosts and special views.
in the heart of the Hohe Mark Nature Park.
We would like to celebrate this together with you.
Join us and accompany us on one or more stages of the journey. 25. to 30. September 2026 to the anniversary hiking days on the Hohe Mark Steig.
Together with certified hiking guide and blogger Steffi – better known to many as “Reiseziege” – we hike a stage of the long-distance hiking trail every day in a group with a maximum of 20 participants.
Hike in good company and experience diverse nature, mystical forests, vast moors, and idyllic lake landscapes. At the end of each stage, we will provide transport back to the starting point.

September 25th, Stage 1 - Wesel to Bärenschleuse - 25.09 km
September 26th, Stage 2 - Bärenschleuse to Schermbeck - 26.09 km
September 27.09th, Stage 3 - Schermbeck to Lembeck - 19 km
September 28.09th, Stage 4 - Lembeck to Haltern am See - 23 km
September 29.09th, Stage 5 - Haltern am See to Oer-Erkenschwick - 24 km
30.09. Stage 6 - Oer-Erkenschwick to Olfen - 28 km

Due to the length of the routes, a good level of basic fitness is required.

Please note that some stages are currently fully booked. However, we can put you on the waiting list if you like. If someone cancels, you'll have the chance to move up. You can see which stages these are on the registration form.
